@Pacha Hornaday they think a lot about mental well-being. Veterans have a high suicide rate, but enlisted folks do, too. I lost several friends to active and passive suicide. They take resiliency very seriously.

@Pacha Hornaday I started a YouTube channel / podcast / Skool community called Finding Fuscata (note: not self-promoting...just explaining). The core theme of my channel is to find things that are hidden - internally or externally - and bring them to light. I started this idea about three years ago, but I was struggling with a lot of limiting beliefs, but recently cleared those all away and I'm moving forward. I also believe strongly in the idea that it's far better to start badly and grow than to never start at all. I've only been doing this seriously since mid-June, and I've already had some fascinating interviews, made some decent videos about obscure philosophies and spiritual ideas, and we're growing slowly. One thing I continually run into in all of my creative endeavors is that I don't/can't/won't fit in anyone's neat little box. I'm aggressively moderate in my politics and love to hear perspectives both right and left. I always seek after the truth, regardless of anyone's feelings or agendas. I practice Christianity, but not in any conventional way - Christians think I'm an atheist or wiccan, while atheists and wiccans think I'm a Christian. I'd like to have deep meaningful conversations from both perspectives about very difficult and touchy subjects like, is gay marriage ethical and societally beneficial; is there any evidence that Jesus Christ actually rose from the dead; is it possible that the transgender movement has its roots in big-pharma and big-agriculture; is anyone paying attention to the fact that Republicans (the self-proclaimed party of "values") are driving down wages and forcing young women into the adult entertainment industry (ie only-fans, et al). But I'm also very interested in psychedelics, psychology, and metaphysics. These are the things I want to talk about and unpack, but I'm worried I'll step on a landmine and the show will be over before it starts. I also don't want to get shoved into an Alex Jones or David Icke pigeonhole.

When I think about nothing, I think about my brain. Check this out: - I KNOW my brain is there, but unless I think about it, I'm unaware of it. - I KNOW that most people, most of the time, don't think about or notice theirs. - If everything is normal, I can't feel it. - I doesn't have any color to me - it can't because it's not a thing my eyes can conceptualize. - When I do think about it, it irritates me because I want to know what it is and what it looks like. - I know something is happening in there because I see the results of it, but I don't know how it works. Now, replace "my brain" with "nothing" and that's how I conceptualize it.
