Hello, During the Live Zoom today (07/16/2024) it was requested that we share non-profits we are associated with or passionate about. Sharing here that I’m a board member with Highway to Destiny https://highwaytodestiny.org/history%2Fmission - The mission is “To serve the homeless in St. Louis (Missouri) by providing basic necessities and other resources that will help them transition into communities.” The current priority is “Job Links Program” - Clients will be trained in fields, such as painting, plumbing, building inspections and construction. They will be paired with employers and they will receive compensation. At the end of the program, employers have the option of hiring clients as regular employees.
