Let’s Debunk 3 Fitness Myths That Are Holding You Back
It honestly bothers me how many “fitness myths” are out there, especially the ones that keep people from reaching their goals. You’ve probably heard things like “carbs make you fat,” “training abs burns belly fat,” or “cold showers help build muscle.” Here’s a tip: question any fitness “hack” or “trick” you hear, and focus on the basics. Consistency beats gimmicks every time. So let’s break down three of the biggest myths and set the record straight. Myth 1: “Carbs Make You Fat” Let’s clear this up: carbs don’t make you fat. Eating too many calories does. Carbs are actually essential if your goal is to build muscle—they provide quick energy and can support muscle growth. Sure, you could live without carbs, but for most guys aiming to get jacked, a balanced intake of carbs will help fuel your workouts and speed up recovery. Myth 2: “Cold Showers Are Good for Recovery” This one gets twisted a lot. While cold showers might be good for recovery in some ways, they’re not great if muscle growth is your goal. Here’s why: after a workout, your muscles are inflamed (which is actually a good thing for growth). Cold water reduces that inflammation, which can actually slow down the muscle-building process. So, skip the cold shower post-workout if you’re focused on gains. Myth 3: “No Days Off, I’ll Rest When I Die” We get it—you wanna get Jacked ASAP. But training nonstop with zero rest days is not helping your gains. Muscle growth happens when you’re resting, not when you’re grinding 24/7. And here’s another tip: prioritize good sleep. Sleep is where your body does most of its recovery. If your sleep quality is trash, it’ll hold back your progress. So, make sure you’re resting just as hard as you’re training. I hope this cleared out a few things for you all. Building your dream physique doesn’t have to be complicated. Stick to the basics: train consistently, eat well, get solid sleep, and repeat. Building your dream physique is more doable than you think—just cut out the noise that makes it seem impossible.

Platforms to practice english?
Hi! I was wondering if you know any special platforms to practice english (specially speaking). Today I have had an interview and sometimes I was stucking with some words. I would love to talk to 'real' people/proffesors, not to AI (sorry ChatGPT). Best regards and thank you very much,

How to Make Time for the Gym in a Busy Schedule
In my opinion, there are 4 main things that help you find time for the gym: Planning, Prioritization, Efficiency, and Focus. The reality is, you can’t “make” more time in your day. You can only take back time from other things and put it toward what truly matters to you. Let me break down these 4 points and give you an example of how I use them to make sure I always have time for the gym. Planning: Planning is the first—and honestly, the most important—step. Without a plan, you’re just winging it. Think about time like money: you get a set amount every day, week, month or year, and you have to budget it wisely. If you’re feeling like you’re “too busy” to work out, trust me—there’s someone out there with even more on their plate who’s still making time for the gym. It comes down to being intentional with your time. I plan my week with time blocked out for all of the things I prioritise - including the gym. Prioritization: You’ve got to prioritize what’s truly valuable to you. Back to the budget analogy: when you budget your money, you focus on essentials first—like rent, groceries, and bills. You don’t start with things like Netflix or shopping. Do the same with your time. List out your non-negotiables (work, sleep, family) and then add what you want to spend time on (LIKE THE GYM!). When you get it all down on paper, you’ll probably see that you have way more time than you realized. Efficiency: Being efficient with your time is a game-changer. Here’s an example from back in my school days: school would end at 2 p.m. Most kids would go home first, then eventually make it to the gym later. But by the time they’d get to the gym, I’d already be halfway through my workout. How? Simple: I packed my gym clothes in my bag and went directly from school to the gym. That one small change saved me at least 45 minutes a day. So, think about ways you can simplify your routine and cut out any unnecessary steps. Focus: Finally, there’s focus. Focus goes hand-in-hand with efficiency, but it’s a bit different. Focus causes efficiency in the activities you spend your time on. When you’re in the gym, stay focused. That doesn’t mean rushing through your workout, but don’t get distracted. On days when I chat with friends at the gym, I end up taking way longer. But when I go solo and tackle my plan with focus, I finish faster—and without cutting corners.

COMMENT A GIF OF YOUR CURRENT PHYSIQUE
Has joining a community like this actually helped you?
Hey guys I was just curious. This format of online communities has really taken off lately. Shout out to @Levi Coates and @Tyler Shearer for creating this one for us. I personally haven’t been extremely active in here or any other online community as I much prefer the kind of brotherhood that comes with seeing and knowing people in the flesh. For those of you who are active in here and other communities like it, what has been the most beneficial part of it? Has the accountability helped towards achieving your goals? Have you met likeminded people? Do prefer smaller more tight knit communities?
