Tell me what YOUR giants are.
I'm sure we're all familiar with David vs. Goliath in 1 Samuel. But did you know it relates to your fitness journey pretty heavily? I think about the odds David had to win against Goliath, and I'm sure we can all agree that his chances were slim to none..... at least, without God's help they were. And I think about the people I talk to on a daily basis that feel so discouraged and demotivated with their fat loss who think the odds are WAY too stacked against them, or like they have no shot at ever meeting their goals of a leaner, stronger body. But wait a minute, if we can do all things through Christ, if David could take out Goliath through Faith and effort, what makes you think you can't make progress towards your health goals? God wants us to be healthy! What do you think would have happened if David thought, "No way, the odds of that happening are WAY too slim to even try"? All things are possible through Christ, so don't leave him out of your health and fitness journey! Instead, get started knowing you can and WILL succeed. Whatever giants are the way of you getting leaner, stronger and healthier, I want you to take them HEAD ON knowing that your Faith and effort can and WILL conquer. So tell me, what giants are you going to conquer to finally break through and pursue your goals?

Relationship with God
One thing that I think gets overlooked when it comes to personal health and fitness is how directly it affects your mental and emotional health, but especially spiritually. As a Christian, my relationship with God has always been important in my life. Being the best version of myself has led to a better self image and has helped open myself more to Faith than ever before. I feel closer to God every day. What have been some of your experiences with Faith throughout your fitness journey?

Stay Relentless!
Galatians 6:9 - "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Although this verse is referring to our good deeds and staying persistent in our faith, we can apply the same principle here to our fitness! With every workout, every healthy meal, every day we don't miss our mark for our nutrition goals and activity goals, we make another step towards our ultimate goal of a leaner, stronger, healthier body. But the day-by-day progress isn't so obvious, although it is there. Comparing Day 1 to Day 3, you won't see much, but Day 1 to Day 90, or even Day 120, I'm sure you get where I'm going with this. So don't get impatient! Stay relentless with your journey and keep going! Enjoy the process along the way and it won't even feel like you're working for it

Faith in Practice
“What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.“-Philippians 4:9 sometimes the gym can be a judgmental place. It’s so important to emulate Christ, especially in vulnerable places!
