Taking it for granted

Man, today is a big day, and if you're a dedicated father you'll get this,

My little lady started nursery today.

But it's made me question have I been taking it for granted having her around and enjoying our Tuesdays together.

I'm sitting here writing this email when Tuesday was always my daddy's day care with her, as mum went off to work on her business, and we'd often go to soft play to smash it up.

I would never have got the time to be able to work during the day.

But it's quite quiet, it's eerie, it's sad.

This morning I recorded a really important podcast about how us as men take things for granted, but how we could possibly change that situation as well?
