What's the best table saw for beginners?
📣Question From the Community: As you already know from the title, I am a beginner when it comes to woodworking. I've done a few simple projects and I'm looking to improve my skills. Done some research and I want to invest in a table saw so I can try my hand at bigger projects. I know many of you here are pros, so I wanted to ask your opinion on what you think is the best table saw for beginners like me. Here's what I'm looking for basically: 1. Easy to use. It should be easy to set up and with minimal fuss. 2. Good safety features. I value my fingers, so a table saw with good safety features would be a major plus. 3. Bang for my buck. I'm not looking for the cheapest one, but I don't want to break the bank on my first table saw. I'd just like something that provides good value for the money. Do you have a tried-and-true recommendation that fits the bill? I would really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Is poplar wood good for furniture?
Hi, everyone! We got another 📣Question From the Community📣 For those who already worked with it, is poplar wood good for furniture? It caught my eye for a few reasons. It's cheaper, which is a big plus for my wallet, and I've heard it's pretty easy to work with, even for us DIYers who aren't quite master craftsmen yet. But then there's a nagging voice in the back of my head that's doubting because of durability and long-term wear and tear. What was your experience like with poplar wood? I'm not sure whether it's okay to use or if I should just play it safe and stick to more traditional options.

Herrbone counter top
I am slowly redoing our kitchen, new cabinet doors, drawers, counter tops and that horrible back wall. I am currently cutting the wood that will make the counter tops. I'm needing to add one inch to the tops to mach the Height of the stove. What should I use to glue the wood down with and do I need to pull up the formica first?
