Day 14
Are you still locked in? Are you still focused on your goal? I know for me the first time I did a challenge like this, it was easy to lose sight of the long term and turn my eyes to the easy, comfortable habits I used to have. But by choosing to conciously think about "What would future me want me to do right now?" is always a great way to snap back into the discipline and motivation you need to stay focused. These past 5 days ive been off the grid, but never off my mission. And I hope you reading this have not faltered either. Over The weekend I didn't get as much done as I would have liked because of a funeral and because of travel, but in those 2 days, I still managed to stick to my positive habits and avoid negative ones. It's a reminder that life is going to continue on no matter what. It's easy to make excuses and to delay your promises. "Ill wait for the right time: or "I can't right now because I want to wait till next month" and all the blah blah reasons you can make for why you can't prioritize the things YOU KNOW will make you a better person. Don't let life & comfort bully you into thinking you aren't good enough for progress. Don't let old habits force you into identifying as an old version of yourself all your life. And lastly, don't let a day go by living that you go to bed thinking "Damn, I should have done more" Go to bed knowing "I did my best at trying my best today" Let's keep it going

Day 14
Journaling
Just some tips I learnt about journaling. I've been struggling with this one for a while and a lot of times the day would end without doing it. For me most habit goals are in my control in the morning but once the day gets busy with life stuff its really hard to get some focus especially at the end of the day. I thought journaling was all about writing how the day was and so I kept pushing it off till end of day. Luckily I found a youtube video that really changed my perspective on journaling. I have linked it here. I hope it helps someone else who's been struggling with this

Looking for Some Advice... 🤔
I’ve been doing well with my routine and staying disciplined. But, I’ve been struggling a bit with keeping my energy up throughout the day, especially when it comes to balancing my work and workouts. Has anyone else dealt with this? What are you doing to keep your energy levels steady, especially when things get busy? Any tips for managing that mid-day crash would be super helpful. Appreciate any advice you can share! ✊🏻

@Chris Nganga & @Isaac Abadi i suffered from Mid-day crashes a lot too both when I worked full time and when I’ve worked independently. The two factors that play a role are caffeine & screen time. If you take caffeine, you’ll inevitably feel more tired when it wears off, not because you’re not well rested, but u were operating high level while caffeinated. & two- looking at screens most of your day creates fatigue as well, almost like highway hypnosis. My cure to this has been what I call “Low power mode” or essentially “Power Naps” I set an alarm for somewhere between 15-25 minutes MAX. (set multiple in the timeframe to make sure you don’t overdo it) I find a medium comfortable location (NO BEDS, only couches or comfy-ish chairs!) And i close my eyes until my alarm goes off. That light power eyes closed state is somewhere between a nap and a deep medidtation, but I always feel refreshed once my alarm goes off and I drink water. The key is not snoozing the alarms. It’s ok to take a moment of downtime through your day to ensure you work efficiently through the rest of your day. It’s literally like charging your cellphone. You need a quick recharge and you’re good to go! other factors that lead to fatigue include- eating heavy or greasy foods during the day, eating sugary foods & drinks during the day, eating carb heavy foods, lack of water, & not sleeping enough the night before. So consider all these things when it comes to your energy levels

Think about it like this too- the heavier you eat during the day, the harder your intestines have to work to digest the food. The digestion is energy as well, so make it easy on your intestines by eating lighter, healthier, Gut healthy & protein based foods during your day time. That way the energy allocated to digestion can be distributed to more things of your choice
Day 8 update- Feeling Stronger Every Day!
Gotta say, hitting the gym every day has been a game-changer. Physically, I’m feeling so much better—more energy, more focus, and just overall stronger. The consistency of going daily has really made a difference. Even on days when I don’t feel like it, I push through, and by the end of the workout, I’m glad I did. My body is finally catching up to the discipline I’ve been putting in. It’s only been a little over a week, but I can already see the gains, not just physically but mentally too. It’s like the more I show up for myself in the gym, the easier it’s becoming to show up in other areas of my life.
