Need some inspiration
I bought a step tracker, but I am wondering how in the world do I get 10,000 steps in in a day! What do you do to get that accomplished? I work at a desk during the day...what can I do to increase my steps during the day while I am at work? Thank you!

Some great ideas listed already. I'll add, don't take the closest parking spot. Park in the last row at work or park further away from the door at the grocery store. Both at work and at home, I try to walk when on calls. I feel it actually keeps me more engaged as well. As Danny has said many times, "gamify" the goal. Just stick with it and it will become easier and easier.

I was able to have a productive recovery week after my race last weekend. I’ve had quite a bit of soreness all week, but was able to adjust my workouts and have a solid week. Learning to listen to my body has been a big win since joining The Herd. I feel I’m set up to have a big week.
Great Start
I have been saying no to unhealthy snacks all week and lost 4 pounds. I’m so excited to keep moving and making my nutrition a priority.

Nice work, keep it up!
Recovery
I posted this image yesterday on my coaching pages. Caption read “Sometimes this is what #nevermissamonday looks like” Recovery is an important part of the process. When we start a new program or are hyper focused on a goal, we sometimes lose sight of recovery and its role in our wellness. Recovery is more than rest days or foam rolling/stretching as was my case yesterday. It includes proper nutrition, sleep, supplementation and hydration. Head down, horns up!

Pull-up alternative
I don’t have access to a full gym right now. Plenty of dumbbells/kettlebells/bands. I’m thinking lat pulldowns (band) or seated row as an alternative. Thoughts?

@Regina Jones lat pull downs or seated rows with bands would be good choices. Just focus on getting a full range of motion and really engaging your scapula muscles. Scapula pushups are also one of my favorites
