Self Branding 🙏
I've seen a bunch of questions/threads about how to run branding workshops for clients however I am wondering how people went through the process of finding their "Brand". I am not running through a specific process but I have thoughts about the types of styles of slide decks and miroboards but I often get clashed with the inner voice saying "Thats too professional", "thats too casual/fun". Does anyone have advice/tips/their own experience when it comes to 'creating' your brand/visual of who you are and who you might approach or should I do my thing and approach everyone to see who responds to my style/offering?

Hey @Stephen Morris great question. I think you have to strike a balance between who you are authentically, and who your ideal customers are attracted to. So first of all, who are you, really? Or more exactly, who do you want to be? You can try to be anything, but the "You" you have practiced all your life will be the most authentic, and authenticity is extremely attractive. Are you very professional, or very casual? Then be that. Are you also very fun? Mix it in. Then second, you must decide who your ideal customer is. If you have a really clear idea of that, then you will know for sure when you are being "too professional" , "too playful", or whatever. It seems at the moment you are only being intuitive about it. Some say the way to find your ideal customer is to look at your current customers, filter by those you like personally, those you like working with, those you produce the best results for, those you make the most money from, with the least difficulties, and so on. Then, clone them. Fire the rest. 🤯 How do you clone them? Build an image of you they can understand and relate to. Once you know who you want to attract, and who you don't really care about, branding is easy. Be consistent with your message. When they think of someone they need with those qualities, they'll think of you, because you "branded" their mind. Sooo, bottom line, be yourself, and don't try to please everybody. Be original by being the person only you can play well, and build a tribe around that. Hope that helps! 😎🌟✨
Need advice on how to set up and work with this room
I will be facilitating a workshop on Saturday for 30 people (or less) in rooms that look like the images below. I am looking for advice on how to arrange tables, chairs, and using the walls for sticky notes. The only whiteboard available is an easel and I'll be attempting to attach my papers to it. I will have additional tape to attach big paper to the wall if post-its and post-it poster pages don't stick to the "textured" surface. I can't go visit the space because I am flying in from another state. 😫 Thoughts? This is my first in-person workshop and I am worried. I did not have control over the venue choice. TIA!

Hi @Talia Johnson, what if you… 1. Arrange 5-6 tables in a « U » formation, focused on you at the back wall. 2. Maybe you will need a second large screen, or two additional whiteboards. 3. Along with your in-person presentation, have a slideshow running off your laptop, displayed on the big screen. 4. In addition, have for reference a single laptop or a couple of tablets per table, connected to your presentation as well. Would that be possible?
