Hi all, I'm a calisthenics beginner in my early 50's, who's starting to feel the downward slide. I was active in my previous years but my physical strength and stamina have dropped noticeably. I'm hoping to rejuvenate and get the best kind of health insurance, exercise and good lifestyle. I've been trying to get started training for about a year, but have not kept up the discipline. After 4-5 years of doing keto and carnivore, I feel like my metabolism slowed down. I stopped denying myself food (and drink), and just gained it all back in a few months (40 pounds). I now realize keto etc is good, only if complemented with good exercise to keep your metabolism moving fast. Obviously for the younger guys and gals this is not a problem (yet!). Anyways, happy to join a community like this, to keep motivated in a healthy way by seeing others challenging themselves, and keeping up with their training and personal development. Thanks 👍✨
