***UPDATE: This only concerns members at Level 1 - Lurker*** I’d absolutely HATE to remove you from the MindGym FREE group. You’re here because you deserve access to a proven way to overcome pre-race anxiety—a way that’s helped swimmers from Olympic champions to age-groupers. But let’s be real about why you’re here… - School hasn’t taught it. - Swim coaches can’t focus on it with their packed schedules and big groups - And as parents, you want to help, but sometimes the best intentions add to the pressure. Pre-race anxiety isn’t about swimming “tougher.” It’s about mastering the mind. Science backs what we’re teaching here, and I’ve seen it work 100's of times over. So, the question isn’t if the MindGym works. The question is: 🚨 Are you willing to do the work? Is the pain of watching yourself underperform when it matters most greater than the discomfort of making a change? Starting in November, we’re clearing out members who aren’t engaging. I don’t want the biggest group—I want the most successful, happy, and committed swimmers and parents. If you’re ready to make MindGym your game-changer, here are 6 ideas: 1. Check your DMs and text me back 2. Introduce yourself in the START HERE post 3. Grab the 30-Day Improvement Plan 4. Register for the next Live Training: "The Ultimate Pre-Race Checklist for Nationals" 5. Comment on posts to support and connect with other members 6. Use the tools in the Classroom and share what’s working (or what isn’t) Don’t make me remove you from the community. Get active, and I promise you'll even surprise yourself with the results that come from consistent action. PS: If you get to Level 5 - National Swimmer like @Luiza Koziol, you get a free 1-1 coaching session with me.

Hi @David Karasek , I understand there's no excuses if we're determined. Last few weeks me, swimmer parent (hospital worker) had to work extra shifts, winter flu and covid still going strong 😒😮‍💨 .. Back to it again now 💪 On the positive, my daughter had Gala yesterday. She won 50m breast stroke in her age group with 48.64 seconds, bettering her last seed time of 54.82 sec Super happy girl, great confidence boost for her 👏

Want a Breakthrough Like Akira? Here's How In 30 Days
Akira—who you’ve probably seen celebrated on our MindGym FREE About Page—just dropped a staggering 6-second PB in the 200 fly. His new time? 2:02.88. That’s more than just a number; it’s a breakthrough. This isn’t just about fast swims. It’s about turning anxiety into confidence, nerves into fuel, and doubts into pure belief. Imagine finally standing on the blocks feeling calm, collected, and ready to crush it. But let’s be real. If you’re still lurking, still hesitant, I get it. Maybe you’re thinking, What if I'm just too nervous? What if this doesn’t work for me? Here’s what I know: the MindGym system works. I’ve proven it. The only question is, are YOU willing to do the work? If there’s even a sliver of doubt, start with the 30-Day Improvement Plan. Because let me tell you, the difference I see between those who dive in with a plan and those who don’t—it’s night and day. The choice is yours. But you wanna stack the odds in your favor 🚀🏊🏼‍♂️

That's amazing 👏 as swimmers know even bettering 1 or 2 sec is super, but 6 seconds in unreal. Also Fly being not the easiest stroke and that distance, seriously super well done 👏

Ask Me ANYTHING [Sunday, Sept 29th 1pm CET)
I've gotten a lot of questions over the past couple of days - and I LOVE IT! However, some of the questions are really deep and deserve more than just a paragraph of writing so I decided to run a Ask Me ANYTHING Zoom call on Sunday, Sept 29th. Steps to attend: #1: Go to the Calendar tab #2: Look for Sept 29th #3: Add the call with the Zoom link to your calendar #4 Attend Q&A call In case you can't be there live, put your questions in the comments below and I'll cover them during the call and send you the recording. Dealio? ;) See you at the pool! David

Hi @David Karasek My daughter loves swimming, going to swim galas. She doesn't say much, just gets on with it. But after almost every race, she is kicking herself for not having better time. I'm trying to reassure her as best as I can. Her times are really good considering she was racing in the same group with up to year older than her. It got to the stage that I was thinking to leave competitions for a while 🤷‍♀️ I'm glad that she is aiming higher, but I don't want to be so hard on herself..

I can relate to most of these in my daughters swimming, but 6 and 7 are by far her. Hopefully I'm not too late posting here. Learning how to navigate here.
