Wanting to get back to club
I was kicked out of a swimming club for not wanting to do mornings. But then I went to a schools gala and got a 1:05 for 100 free and I have not been swimming for like 2 years. I also got a bronze medal in the relay with a 50m free time of 28:07 should I and how should I get back into the club wanting to do mornings now.

SIDE STITCHES in practice
Can someone provide suggestions for preventing and managing side stitches in practice? My 10 y/o swims 5 days a week and tends to get side stitches 1-2 practices every week that cause him pain so then he sits out for a bit. The sitting out or the coach coaxing him back in the water then makes him upset which only escalates the pain. He does not eat huge amounts before practice and hydrates well. He is VERY thin in general. HELP!!!!

Turning EVERYTHING Into Fuel: A Lesson from Michael Phelps 🐐
Picture this: Michael Phelps, already a swimming superstar, is at a dinner... Some random swim mom tells him he has NO chance of winning the 100m butterfly at the Olympics. Ouch, right? But guess what? Phelps used that doubt to FIRE HIM UP. He won gold, beating his teammate who was the world record holder! 🥇 This is what's called the "Everything is Motivation" mindset. It means taking ALL your experiences – good or bad – and using them to get better. Think about it: - Bad practice? Use it to push harder tomorrow. - Someone trash-talking you? Use it to crush them in the pool. 😈 - Disappointing race? Use it to learn from your mistakes. Phelps even used that swim mom's negativity to fuel his Olympic win! "Remember how [that swim mom] told me I could never win the 100m butterfly? Well, what’s up now?" - Michael Phelps Here's the deal: Waiting to "feel" motivated is a trap. Motivation is a CHOICE. You can choose to use EVERYTHING as fuel to reach your goals. What SPECIFICALLY do you do to choose motivation every day? Can you share what works for you? Let's chat about it in the comments! 👇
