Make $$$ (and turn free to paid) with Calendar
Yesterday I tried out using the Calendar as a promotion for 50% off membership and already had a few extra members go from free to paid. Still going for one more day. Even my wife commented "Why haven't you done that before?" because it looked inviting, showing up in her feed on her phone app. I also use the Calendar to promote up and coming releases of new programs or other offers to build hype. That big red LIVE box is a very handy feature.

16 Days on Skool: Lessons Learned, Insights & Whatā€™s on the Horizon!
Hey Skool Community! šŸ™Œ Itā€™s been 16 days since I joined Skool, and wow, what a ride itā€™s been! Iā€™ve learned so much in a short time, and I wanted to share a few key takeaways with you: 1. The Power of Clarity: The clearer you are about your mission, the easier it is to create valuable content and build the right connections. Skool has made me think deeply about my communityā€™s purpose, and itā€™s been transformative. 2. Community Is EVERYTHING: Itā€™s not just about growing numbers; itā€™s about creating a space where people can connect, share, and grow together. The community here has been incredibly welcoming, and itā€™s fuelled my drive to give more. 3. Content Over Perfection: Iā€™ve struggled with perfectionism, but Skool has pushed me to focus on delivering value over waiting for everything to be ā€œjust right.ā€ Just startā€”progress will follow. 4. Engagement Drives Momentum: The more I engage with members and other communities, the more I learn and the faster my own community will grow. Itā€™s all about mutual support! 5. Consistency Wins: Even when it feels like growth is slow, showing up consistently makes a big difference. The journey is about building habits, not just numbers. So, Whatā€™s Next? Moving forward, Iā€™m focused on: ā€¢ Refining my Build Share Thrive framework to help more community leaders grow with purpose. ā€¢ Creating deeper learning experiences focused on engagement strategies, branding, and community-building. ā€¢ Creating more content to share what Iā€™ve learned, as I believe we all grow by sharing our experiences. Iā€™m incredibly excited about the future of my Skool community and canā€™t wait to connect with more of you, share resources, and continue growing together! What have YOU learned from your time here on Skool? Would love to hear your thoughts! Letā€™s keep thriving! šŸ’”

@Brad Williams Thatā€™s such a fantastic approach! Creating a mini support group through challenges is such a powerful way to build connection and momentum. Are you planning something similar for your community?

Iā€™ve answered 13k Skool support emails. Here are 5 lessons that Iā€™ve learned.
Hey everyone!!! I donā€™t normally post, but after speaking to some of you in the Skool HQ I thought Iā€™d share a couple of the things Iā€™ve learned working on the support team for the past 1 year šŸ˜„ Here we go: 1. When members canā€™t reach you for help, their experience suffersā€”and theyā€™re more likely to leave. Solution: Make your support email easy to find. Add it to key places like your communityā€™s About page, the welcome post, or the first page of any course. The easier it is for members to get help, the better their experience will be. When members know where to ask for help, theyā€™ll feel supported. They know you have their back even if they donā€™t contact you. 2. People get confused about what to do in your community without a clear community roadmap. Solution: Engaged communities provide a clear roadmap. The purpose of the roadmap is to guide members from point A to point B with simple, actionable steps. Outline precisely what members need to do to achieve their goal. This shows you have a proven plan and can help them succeed. People will join your community to achieve their goals. But they stay because of the valuable connections they make along the way. Speaking of connectionsā€¦ 3. Members are less likely to churn when they feel a personal connection with you. Community is like a party: If you donā€™t know anyone there, you will feel left out. And no one likes that feeling. By taking the time to connect with members, you make them feel included. Members who know you personally become invested in your community and are much less likely to leave. Solution: Start by building relationships through AutoDMs. Ask open-ended questions like, ā€œHave you been doing this for a while, or are you just getting started?ā€ From there, tag them in relevant posts based on where they are in their journey. Move from DMs to a one-on-one call. For smaller communities, consider short 1-1 calls. For larger communities, an onboarding call is a great time investment. You can even direct members to the onboarding call directly from your AutoDM.

Thank you @Erika Kulpina for sharing this valuable information.
How a Skool Community Funnel built my Marketing Agency to $11,827/m in just 26 days
Iā€™ve been trying to start a successful agency for years, Iā€™ve dealt with every objection known to mankind. From lack of social proof to leads not having enough money. I just wanted an online business I could scale and work on with a beach view man. But using a Skool centered funnel, I was able to achieve that in under a month. Thatā€™s only because Skool has built in qualification mechanisms which attracts the right people, puts an emphasis on value and most importantly; isnā€™t saturated. I was doing it all before. I worked minimum wage jobs just to burn 1.5k a month on ads using instant forms and application funnels. I tried cold calling, putting in endless hours just to get the phone hung up on in my face. Even when I did get clients, they were bottom of the barrel - they could barely afford a retainer under 1000$ and I had NO room to be selective with who I worked with. It took the Skool Community Funnel to realise what I was doing wrong. Everything I just listed out has been made hugely oversaturated by all these gurus selling the same process. All of your ideal clients have seen the same thing over and over again, and theyā€™re sick of it. Thatā€™s when Skool came about and I decide to create a private community for my Agency. It was like a facebook group on crack. I was broke. I had exhausted everything, and this idea came to me like a hail mary. All I could afford was 10$ a day in ads. I sold the idea of a network, the idea of doing ads yourself so that you never had to deal with painful agencies again. I was getting a registration a day, with clients all writing down that they were willing to invest $5000+ to invest in themselves. It was a room filled with all my ideal clients in once place. Then I continued to build the community, doing long write ups, hosting weekly calls and creating live trainings. Just like that all these clients were booking in calls themselves? Wanting more? Imagine creating a world where no matter where they looked they saw you as an AUTHORITY. Theyā€™ve never seen anyone doing this before either, they felt indebted to the content. Imagine being close to hands off with the appointment setting process, Iā€™d just create selfie cam videos where iā€™d rant like a nerd about entrepreneurship and the members LOVED the authenticity. So much so, they never asked for a single testimonial, they just knew I was qualified.
