Thank you @Thomas Collins and all fellow “heisters” 🎃 I really enjoyed the community spirit and hearing people’s advice and stories. I didn’t commit to the programme as much as I should’ve, I know I would’ve benefited more had I approached it differently but it has inspired me to make a change between now and Xmas 🎄 I have no excuse. I have time, I have the knowledge and I have a vision. I need to park the procrastination and set a new routine. As I hit level 5 I received the training diary from @Thomas Collins and it has flicked a switch. I love it. As a visual thinker I am looking forward to using it to set daily goals and stay accountable. It has been a blast. What even is “Tapering”
So, I have Marathon Eryri this Saturday 🗻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 it’s known as the hardest marathon in the UK as it’s “a little bit bumpy”. I am “Tapering” which means I am doing less running but focusing on keeping my legs moving as well as hydrating and Carb loading (I have been carb loading for 25 years 🤦🏻‍♂️). Anyone else have any advice or tips or experiences for “tapering” even if its superstitions. Would love to know 🙌🏻

Epic fail today
Me and a buddy at work had plans to go for a run at 1600hrs this avo, nice shake out after a day inside. I woke this morning a bit tired and thinking “I won’t do a WOD cos me and Lee are going for a 10k later”, I even had my kit laid out so we could quick change and get out before dark. Anyway….work got in the way and I’ve only just left…epic fail 🤪 Sometimes the day is just the day, I’m tapering for HyRox on Fri and my diet has been in control today so it’s not the end of it. Tomorrow I’ll go again, rested and get my WOD done early. Hope everyone is well. ❤️ and 🍾

One of my favourite days of the month
I love coffee ☕️ I drink more than I should and my Nespresso machine is an important part of my WFH life. Resupply of my Pods brings me more joy than it should 🤦🏻‍♂️☕️ Have a great day
