1) not having to defrost the car this morning 2) That I could stick a load of lb admin work in the car and do it at home tomorrow because I’m cleaning for the rest of the day now and I just don’t have time

Order of lifting….
Sooooo, I’ve streamlined my weight sessions….. Inverted row Bench Single arm row Diamond press ups (absolutely hate these and most are still on my knees) OR lunges (I refuse to do lunges on my long run day so I alternate between press-ups & lunges depending on what else I have on) 6 sets in the above order. It’s the only way I have time to get it done, it’s that or I get up even earlier & I’m really not keen on that! How much does it matter that I’m jumping from one to the other - they are at least all (bar lunges) upper body…… I’m unlikely to change back to doing all of one before moving on at the moment due to needing sleep lol, and I’ve just upped my bench weight, so it does work (just may not be optimal 🤔), I’m just intrigued to know if it’s a shit idea or not…

@Sunny Durman Having done my weights at Spartan, I am now doing zone 2 at puregym (Spartan don’t have a x trainer…what can I say, I go where I have what I need 🤷‍♀️) - totally nailing the weights first then cardio work 😇😇😇

1) my lower back isn’t unhappy - every other weds I do 7hrs of cleaning rather than 4hrs on the other week - I usually feel like a cripple by time I finish - I won’t lie, it did a mini twinge yesterday but nothing came of it - 🤞 this is the start of things to come! 2) easy Thursday before a manic Friday

15.5 miles ✅
Okay, so now I know I can do the distance (the last time Race the light did a half marathon it was 15.5 miles 🤔) it’s 11 minutes over the three hour cut off… Guess I’m just going to have to hope that the three hour cut-off is for crossing the river, not the finish line 🤞🤞 i’m not million miles off at my heart rate didn’t even go into zone five so I can clearly push harder…… Saying that nearly makes me cry, it was so hard today, it really was me against me making me put in the extra bits to make sure I got to 15.5 miles because what I really wanted to do was go straight back to the car and hit 13 miles.

@Sunny Durman if I can get out mid week (next week) I might give that a try - but not too much as need to be 100% for the race 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ failing that, I can do that while I wait for the next event to come around 😁😁 Thanks 😘

@Binny Snelling I spent way too much on Amazon, it’s just too easy to order stuff! Not feeling too bad, no aches just feeling really tired from yesterday‘s run. I seem to be always be a bit sniffly/coughing up gunk ever since I had Covid 9 weeks ago, just not quite fully over it. 😏 Busy weekend this week - no lab on sat (thank goodness) but grading students all day on Sunday and apparently I’m not allowed to make them cry 🤷‍♀️ You have a good day too xx
