15.5 miles ✅
Okay, so now I know I can do the distance (the last time Race the light did a half marathon it was 15.5 miles 🤔) it’s 11 minutes over the three hour cut off… Guess I’m just going to have to hope that the three hour cut-off is for crossing the river, not the finish line 🤞🤞 i’m not million miles off at my heart rate didn’t even go into zone five so I can clearly push harder…… Saying that nearly makes me cry, it was so hard today, it really was me against me making me put in the extra bits to make sure I got to 15.5 miles because what I really wanted to do was go straight back to the car and hit 13 miles.

Grateful Day 26
1. Having that time in the morning when it's just me and the house waking up, while the rest of the humans are sleeping. That first creak of the house, the sound of the coffee machine, the first sip of coffee. Then a bit of a core workout followed by a bit of stretching. 2. Getting back on the rower. Having shoulder and wrist problems since last year when I had tendonitis and had to rest my arm for 2 weeks. Its not been great and then I hit a brickwall. Yep, no confidence, feeling I let myself down etc etc. Putting off rowing and making excuses, only doing what I had too!!! Yesterday I got back on the rower, just for 15 mins to see how things were. They were OK and so over the coming month, I'm gonna just get back into it and build myself up again. I've lowered my db weights and kept moving but why I hit a brickwall with rowing, god only knows!!

Grateful Day 25
1. Fizzy vitamins. My household has had the lurgy but it seems to have by-passed me. Hopefully, I haven't spoken to soon!!! 2. Didn't haven't any power cuts yesterday from Storm Bert

Great fun up on the hills today 😁😁
Much more water up there than yesterday! Heading into the woods was definitely the right choice - we got distracted by fungi…again lol. Any incline, however slight felt like hard work after yesterdays run but we moved 💪💪 Stream crossings were hilarious, paths were streams and what looked like solid ground usually turned out not to be - mud up and over our trainers 🤣, on down hill sections all I could hear was “oh shit” from behind as wifey nearly went arse over tit - at least I knew she was keeping up ok!
