7 Day Challenge ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Comment Below ๐Ÿ‘‡
This is a different approach to accountability I'd like to try and see how you guys find it. Mainly as the majority of community are quiet with a few active members. This may be a good way to get things going! I will be putting together a 14 day exercise challenge for you guys soon. But this is slightly different. I want you to choose one single health/fitness/wellbeing action/activity/avoidance of a "negative" activity and I'd like you to make a commitment to that thing for the next 7 days. I CHALLENGE you to make a commitment and go and do (or don't do) that thing. Comment below ๐Ÿ‘‡ I'll post in the group daily for updates- Tomorrow will be challenge day 1. On this thread post your goal. Examples below: ๐Ÿ’ง I will drink 2.5litres of water every day ๐Ÿ’ค I will go to bed 1 hour early (state time) every day ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ I will do some Pilates every day ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ I will build a walk or other exercise in to every day ๐Ÿป I'll lay off the alcohol for 7 days ๐Ÿซ I'll have zero junk food this week .I'll be looking for your updates every day! Good luck, can't wait to work through this with you. Please shout with any questions! Russ

We did the first zoom recording class. The most fun part for the kids was learning the back roll and trying to keep the balance. The leg left lift is still the weak spot but for me feels like i'm getting an enormous release. You kept mentioning the Glutus Medias and I've heard in a video that Pes Anserine Bursitus is caused by weak Glutus Medias. I think Pilates is showing me how important a balanced body is but also it's showing me exactly where the weakness is?...hopefully!
The Weekend Is Here!
What are you all planning? Are your goals going to fit in to your weekend plans? This is a weekend of jobs around my house and otherwise keeping active with the little people (2 and 3.5 years old) so some exhausting fun ahead ๐Ÿ˜… I'd love to hear from you and please use this post if you need a little help and accountability sticking with your goals at the toughest time (weekends are prime time for falling off the wagon).

Why do i like those leg lifts and circles so much? They are painfull for me but somehow addictive lol. I feel like this is exctly what my legs need, especially the left one with the knee issue. The hip flexor stretch hits the spot too! Thanks again Russ
Steps - get them in!
For every additional 2,000 steps perday, heart disease, cancer and premature death drops by 10% - peaking at 10,000 where impact drops off. Get in that activity. If your daily steps sit at or below the 4,000 mark, thid is classes as sedentary, you NEED to get moving. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ

Ok, i Just got back from walking 4km in the countryside and over a lake. Loved it, very relaxing. According to this steps calculator https://www.thecalculatorsite.com/health/km-steps.php, it's 5531 steps!

Is the live zoom recording a chat or a workout session? Also what time is it usually?

Hi Abbie, that sounds painful. Good luck with your Pilates journey. From reading online and also Russ's story it seems like Pilates can be great for sorting out back issues like yours! Fingers crossed for you. Keep us all updated on your journey to recovery.
