Still getting charged $1 per month in Caliversity - Solution
Greetings everyone! We received a message from a Caliversity Athlete some days back that he was still getting charged $1 a month in our Skool community. This happened because we initially priced the entrance fee for Caliversity at $1/month to keep out bots and scams but we realised that a majority of our target audience are students who do not have access to debit cards and hence our decision to make it free. Skool is a relatively new platform and we learnt recently that when audience A joins at a set price per month and this set price is changed for new audience B, audience A continues to pay the same set price for the rest of their subscription. This isn't fair for any one of audience A, who are paying $1 a month whereas others are getting access for free. However, the price setting in Skool does not allow us to adjust the subscriptions of audience A to what audience B is paying(free). Under such circumstances, we've managed to find a way to make it as fair as possible for audience A. Instead of the original price setting of $1 per month, we adjusted it to $1 per year. While audience A is still being charged $1 each year, we managed to dial it down from a potential $12 annually. We are still looking for a complete solution to this problem and we hope that Skool offers us new possibilities out of this obstacle but in the meantime, we hope that the first few joiners(audience A) understands the full context of this problem. If you know a fixed solution to this issue, do comment down below. Cheers! - Daemon and Cheng Wee

Scammers and upsellers will not be tolerated(final warning)
Caliversity is a free group made to cater to athletes who wish to improve on themselves and who wish to learn about calisthenics. With any free group comes the potential of scams. We have noticed an uprise in the number of bots and scammers who are upselling their programs through comments and created posts. While Cheng Wee and I are making continuous efforts to ban these people, we cannot be online 24/7. Hence, we have appointed new moderators to keep our calisthenics community in check. Anybody who is caught upselling their own courses through posts and comments will be banned - you will NOT be able to enroll into Caliversity ANYMORE. This is the final warning from us. We will not tolerate any touts You have been warned. - Daemon and Cheng Wee

SCAMMERS
We have noticed that scammers have begun entering the group to spread their own word on their own scams. It is quite difficult to prevent this from happening because this is a free group afterall. However, let this be the fine and only warning to anybody who thinks about it. We will come down hard on anybody who attempts to hardsell or lie to the people of Caliversity. You will be banned immediately, as soon as we see it happen. We aim to still keep this group free to encourage people to join, learn and discuss about calisthenics, but bots and hardsell promotions will not be tolerated. Also, there is only one Caliversity that teaches calisthenics programs for free in skool. There is NO other group with the same name. If you do see it, it is not by us. Any newly created group by us will be mentioned beforehand and promoted here, and on our social media accounts. Stay safe, athletes of Caliversity!
