RARE VIDEO: Mental Training "Changed My Life" (Leon Marchand in 2020)
Found this amazing video while I was researching some key parts to build the new MindGym 2.0 - MUST WATCH!! The brand new MindGym 2.0 is coming in a few days... Still putting the final touches on it 🧰 🚀 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚀 We're now 30 swimmers in the MindGym PRO (it's the paid version of the MindGym FREE) and as I said, prices are going up. If you want to lock in the $97/mo or $697/yr then apply here as soon as possible: https://calendly.com/davidkarasek87/mindgym-pro-update You have until December 2nd, after that it'll be $125/mo and $999/yr. Last chance. If you're on the fence, you have a 14-day 100% money-back guarantee. If the MindGym PRO isn't the best thing since paddles and fins, you get all your money back. Seems fair? Let's do this!!! If mental training was good enough for Leon Marchand, it'll be good enough for you too.

Stop Blaming Circumstances: The Truth About Swimming Fast
Effort? A choice. Positive mindset? A choice. Showing up early? A choice. Doing daily visualization? A choice. Cheering for teammates? A choice. Putting gear away? A choice. Go to bed early? A choice. Doing that little bit extra? Another choice. Fast swimming isn’t luck, talent, or magic. It’s the result of the sum of your choices. So, what's ONE choice you've been wanting to make for a long time but haven't? Let everyone know in the comments and do it starting right NOW!! 👇

👀Sneak Peak at the MindGym 2.0
Doors Closed: Brand-New MindGym (FREE) Under Construction
After running the MindGym (FREE) for 3 months we're now ranked #42 of all Skool communities in the "Sports" category. That's nice, but I want us to be #1 (I still got the competitive edge). We've also grown to 937 members so thank you all for your engagement. I've learned what works and more importantly, what doesn't. One thing I know for sure: Swimmers who don't take action, won't see the results they are secretly hoping to have. And I'm going to raise the bar for everyone to BECOME AN ACTION TAKER because that's the kind of coach I want to be. And it's also how you will succeed in life after swimming. By being an ACTION TAKER. The MindGym (FREE) will be closed for new members for a couple of days until I'm done with the remodeling. Can't wait to show you all!! David P.S. All live trainings are happening like scheduled (check the calendar tab). We have a special guest on Sunday that you don't want to miss.

Psychology’s influence
Hey, I’m Ally, a friend of David Karasek, and I am writing a project on the topic “the influence of psychology on swimmers”. My goal is to collect answers from a questionnaire I’ve set up on order to analyse the importance of psychology and how to use it to promote athletic success. I would be very grateful for anyone who’d be interested in answering the questions. Questions - How important do you consider the mental component of competition and training for your sport? - How would you split the difference bewteen the mental and physical component? - Do you do active mind training, is it included in your program? - What external factors influence your mind? - Have you ever worked with a sports psychologist to improve your mental resilience? If so, how did it change your approach to the sport? - What role does goal setting play in your training and competition preparation? How does your mental approach to goals influence your performance? - Can you describe a time when your motivation was low? How did it affect your training or competition results, and how did you overcome it? - How do you mentally adjust during a competition if things aren’t going as planned? Can you give an example of a time when mental flexibility helped you succeed? - Do you have any other mental strategies you use? - Does the physical or psychological enable you to push for longer or continue to endure the pain? - When you are competing, how do you know when to give 100% and when to conserve energy? - Do you think swimming backstroke vs the other strokes is mentally more challenging because you can’t see where you’re going and you don’t have a line to follow?
