@Kevin Jenkins Welcome to the Dojo, Kevin! Brooklyn has been added to the Dojo map. Yes, the humble kettlebell makes it easier to be consistent. Feel free to make yourself comfortable, ask questions and post your progress / challenges.

@Bobbie Covert Howdy, Bobbie! Glad you could join us in the Dojo. I wouldn't mind living in CO! How long have you been using kettlebells?
A new challenger appears...
This is cool... there's finally an adjustable hardstyle kettlebell on the market. While I prefer the competition style kettlebell design, this could be perfect for someone who prefers the old school, hardstyle kettlebell as it solves the problem of handle sizes changing as you move up in weight. The handle geometry also seems to be on par with the typical competition style kettlebells. I'm not in the market, but there might be a few who are interested. https://www.eryxfitness.com/en/product/adjustable-kettlebell/

@Ionut Lazau Not sure, but you could use segments of PVC pipes to space out the weight plates more evenly if you wanted to

@Andreas Last That's how I use my adjustable kettlebell- weight plates at the top. I also use a segment of PVC pipe so I don't have to screw the two nuts all the way to the bottom weight plate- they just have to travel an inch or so to the bottom of the PVC pipe. 💡
Workout Program (3-4x/week)
All, I just finished a 30-day KB program and got my first belt. Now I want to continue my KB journey training 3-4x per week. What are the best next steps? Which program do I follow? Do I do workout of the week 3-4x per week? What is best? Thank you very much, Anze

@Anze Gantar You're on it! Excellent. Are you a member of Kettlebell Plus by any chance? There's also a 6 week challenge I did earlier this year and posted about. I can provide the YouTube link if you're interested.

I'm currently doing a program of snatches and thrusters... work for 35 seconds, rest for 90 seconds. Rinse repeat for 10 rounds alternating between sides & exercises. I hit a PR this week... 18 snatches in 35 seconds. Go me! 🥳

@Tatjana Fischer Good eye, Tatjana! 😉
inspired by the kata
For a few days I have been remembering the kata that was a really fun challenge, so yesterday I decided to do a double KB workout inspired in it. EMOM dead lift 2X push up 2X swing 2X clean press 2X (or clean and press 2X) squat and press 2X I had to alternate between EMOM and ENOM (1.5 min every other set) For the last 5 minutes or so I changed it up EMOM dead lift 1X push up 1X swing 1X clean clean and press 1X squat and press 1X half snatch

NICE! Keep it up, Sebastian. Nothing wrong with alternating it to work for you.
