August Leaderboard Prize!
So for this month I have partnered with Crossrope Jump Ropes to give the leaderboard winner for this month a free AMP handle bundle (1/4 lb, 1/2 lb, and 1 lb Rope) as well as a YEAR free of Crossrope's App Subscription. Along with getting points on the leaderboard, I will also be giving away extra points for those who refer this group and bring in more men! (5 points per sign up!) I'll be creating a little one pager explaining the group in more detail later today. As a massive believer in jump rope, crossrope is the best out there. I know a few of them men in this group have it as well and it is the best workout around!

I’m grateful for my husband, my family, and the interwebs as a gathering place (like this space - thanks Marcus!). I appreciate how deep my relationships are, how free I am to be my self, and how connection is available to us at any moment.
Mixing a little mindfulness and spirituality with this one.
What is a meditation practice that you use?? Share your experience of meditation and let's talk about it. If you don't have a meditation practice, what is stopping you from having one and how can I best support you?? Meditation is an amazing tool to digest the thoughts, tap into your spiritual self (authentic self) and move through the world with free will choice rather than being reactive to the world around you.

Insight Timer has been a vital tool for me for the last four years. I started using it in the throes of depression & anxiety, and can confidently say the access to hundreds of thousands of meditations helped me out of a really dark place.Something about having another human’s voice guide me into a healthier state of mind helped me feel less alone and more supported, even if they’ll never know me in real life. I love that you can choose the topic / length / teacher/ language, and there’s something for everyone. I try to do 20 minutes first thing in the morning and right before bed πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Nature walks or even doing the dishes sans music or conversation can be quite meditative for me as well. I feel more connected to my Self and others, and can definitely notice when I’ve skipped a few too many days.

I require 8 hours of sleep if I need to interact with other humans. Dark room. Fan / white noise. Cold. Otherwise it’s not deep enough. Personally, I love turning on an Insight Timer meditation while I’m laying in bed and, often times, I fall asleep to it.
