Should Skool have a public roadmap? --- Problem --- There TONS of posts for feature requests and questions that create a lot of noise. Some are completed, some pending, etc. but it's hard to know. Many of those posts include requests for: - Rich text editor/formatting - Admin/public view toggle - 2 factor authentication - Bookmarking posts - Discount codes - Apple Pay - etc. --- Solution --- A public roadmap would reduce a lot of the noise/hunting if we could see: - What's in progress - What's been completed - What's being considered or not (most voted) -------

Now we show the top 5 groups from every category on the homepage in random order. This gives groups from all categories a better chance of being discovered. Plus it's more fun. We used to rank all groups globally, now we rank them per category. We tried a new algorithm, but as many of you pointed out, it wasn't very good. We reverted to the original algorithm. Thank you for your feedback. Our intention is to make things better, and we did, but we had to make things worse for 24h to get there. Sorry about that. More detail in the video. Enjoy!

I use Skool a lot but wonder if there's any features I don't know about. What's your favourite little-known Skool feature?

Is there a way to determine what % of users are logging in via mobile vs desktop? I know better metrics and analytics have been on the roadmap for a while now, but I'm hoping there's a way to see what percentage of users are logging in on mobile so we can adequately cater the community experience. WHY? - When trying to "upload" a video, mobile users can't. Unfortunately, the clunky experience of having to take a video, upload it to a third party, grab the link, come back to school, and post it is something almost no one is going to do and doesn't do. - When trying to VIEW a video (that's been attached as a file) mobile users have to download the whole video file, go to their files (not even photos) locate the file, then view it which... again being that it's 2024, no one is gonna do that. So we're trying to figure out how to give users a better mobile experience versus forcing them through hoops to do some basic functionality that they're already used to everywhere else on the internet.
